The organisation started in 2025, and is run by Malm\u00f6 Konsthall as a three-year project with finansing from Allm\u00e4nna Arvsfonden. The goal is that KOAS will one day be a permanent arts organisation.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(0.984rem, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.86), 1.5rem);\">14 artists currently work in the studio collective, where they have access to professional artistic support that is adapted to their personal ambitions and creative goals. KOAS is an arts organisation \u2013 not a disability support organisation \u2013 and works to promote the independence, rights and artistic development of the artists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(0.984rem, 0.984rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 0.86), 1.5rem);\">KOAS is part of an international movement that works to ensure that neurodivergent and disabled artists can work professionally and on their own terms. The idea behind it is that we want to create a free, safe and inclusive space for artistic exploration.
